Instagram Integration is Now Live
Good news, you can now add your Instagram image feed to any of your Bokeh photography sites. This is a great way to show off your candid and personal side to your visitors.
To enable Instagram, simply:
- Go to your account dashboard at http://getbokeh.com/account_dashboard
- From the Connections section on the right-hand column, click the Connect with Instagram link
- Instagram will ask you to approve our access to your feed
- Once approved, you’ll be redirected back to your Account Dashboard. You can then turn on Instagram for any site (from the Integrations tab)
Enjoy.
You can see it in action on this sample site.
New integration coming this week. Very exciting.
Performance Update
We deployed an update this morning aimed at improving the performance of Bokeh site loading. We significantly reduced the number of database queries performed when a site loads.
As you can see from the graph, initial reports look good (bars on right-hand side indicate faster response times).

We care a lot about site speed so we’ll be continually monitoring performance and implementing updates. This is just the first phase.
We just added logo uploading to the General Settings area of Bokeh.
For best results, use a PNG file with transparency for your logo.
Want to add some Instagr.am-style effects to images from your real camera? Daniel Box has created a nice little set of Photoshop actions that mimic many of the popular effects.
Awesome Videos in Your Bokeh Site
Bokeh lets you beautifully embed videos in your site. Simply create a new menu item, select the “video” type, and add the URL to your Vimeo or YouTube video. No need to copy and paste embed code, edit HTML, or anything else.
